"I decided to purchase a Pure Matte Stainless Steel Rocca primarily because of its beautiful appearance. I knew it would be a quality razor because the R41 had long been a favorite of mine and I knew that Muhle razors were top notch. Little did I know how much I would enjoy shaving with the Rocca. I was astonished at how smoothly it performs without sacrificing efficiency. The Rocca is so smooth, in fact, that I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone just starting out with DE razors. Now the R41 and the Rocca are both in my top five, and I own dozens of DE razors, both vintage and modern. If I had tried the Rocca earlier in my journey, I would probably own many fewer."

- I have used the R89 for 20 years (with good results) and am considering upgrading to the R94. Is the blade gap larger for the R94? Will my shaving experience be different in other ways? Thanks, Steve
- Hello. The R94 is a new design, and it should give a similar shave to the closed comb razors such as R89.
