The Material
Thermo Ash
Besides beech and oak, ash is one of the most important indigenous deciduous timbers. It is to be found in Europe, most frequently in more northerly regions.
For our application, the wood is treated at over 200°C without chemical additives. This alters the properties of the wood considerably. Resin formation and shrinkage are reduced to a minimum and a high level of resistance to water and soap is achieved. The result of the thermal treatment is a sustainable and durable alternative to hard tropical woods.

A barber's shave begins with a real treat, which is also the perfect shaving preparation par excellence: the application of a hot towel to the areas to be shaved. Our shaving towels made of pure cotton in waffle-piqué structure are made exclusively for this purpose.
Due to the square relief structure, the cotton texture absorbs a particularly large amount of moisture and at the same time stores the pleasant warmth. After shaving, the soft fabric pampers you one more time while cleaning and drying your face – this is applied shaving culture in perfection.

In combination with a slightly steeper blade angle, this safety razor promises a particularly gentle shaving technique, which is also suitable for beginners with a little practice. This premium quality, durable synthetic fibre is synthetically produced, suitable for vegans, very easy to look after and dries faster than any natural material.
The fibres are made by hand and are particularly soft at the tip. The lower part of the brush is firmer and provides sufficient backbone for a pleasant massage effect even when wet. Silvertip Fibre guarantees a luxurious lather even when using the smallest amounts of shaving soap or cream.
