"Blades are stupid sharp. Much sharper than the blades on a multi blade replaceable razor head. With my new ROCCA, I get a smoother, closer, more comfortable shave than I ever did with an old Bic or Gillette razor and with almost no irritation. And I know I don't have to worry about buying a new handle every year when they change the design. The initial cost is steep, but in the long run I'm gonna save a lot of money. Q&A

I have used the R89 for 20 years (with good results) and am considering upgrading to the R94. Is the blade gap larger for the R94? Will my shaving experience be different in other ways? Thanks, Steve: Hello. The R94 is a new design, and it should give a similar shave to the closed comb razors such as R89.
