Great Quality - Smooth Shave

"The Muhle Rocca Safety Razor is a high quality stainless steel razor and from my initial use it has provided a smooth shave. I have a medium beard and shave daily. The Razor is a little heavier than my previous razor and I have needed to let the weight of the Razor do the work without pressing firmly. The handle is not slippery and doesn't move around in your hand when wet. I also purchased the Muhle Blades and will want to try them along with the previous german made blade I previously used to get just the right glide for my shave. As with all Safety Razors, it is helpful to lather well and be patient, not rush your movements to avoid nicking your face. Overall, my first reaction is positive and I look forward to enjoying my shaving experience along with having a smooth, clean look."

The shave I've been searching for

"The Rocca is a marvel- feels completely solid in the hand. Fit and finish are supurb. The handle feels grippy and totally controllable, despite this being a fairly heavy razor. The blade feel is significant, but not in a way that ever feels "threatening;" I never once on my first shave felt at risk of cutting myself, unless I got totally klutzy. It just gives you great tactile feedback, as well as great audible feedback from the blade. Two passes and one bit of spot touch-ups behind my ears got me the closest shave of my life (I shave my head as well as around my beard on my face. )"

"This is my first time using a straight razor that isn't made in China. You can definitely tell the quality of the product once you take it out of the box. Very Nice Shave with the Rocca

"I just finished my first shave with the ROCCA razor as I wanted a little step up from the R89 Grande I had been using. Using the same brand of blade I got a noticeably closer shave with the ROCCA. While it feels a little different than the R89 on the face, I still managed a nice shave with no nicks or razor burn. I imagine from here on out I will use the ROCCA most often but I will also use the R89 Grande as well. Both are great razors and are very well made, I look forward to using them for many years to come."

"I couldn’t decide between this R94 and the R95 (birchbark), so I ordered them together. Figured I’d return the one that I liked the least. I kept both. Weight distribution and the low head profile make for an excellent shave and the handles (both of them) are just right. The birchbark is, predictably, softer. The black handle’s surface structure is super comfortable. No slippage with either. Wet or dry. Plus they look very very cool. The Roccas provide a great platform. I’ve used a variety of different blades with both (and my R89…I like to experiment) and all have performed exactly as advertised. 👍👍 My facial hair growth is in the middle range in terms of coarseness. The Rocca razors are the perfect match. I couldn’t be happier."
