High quality machining, unique look

"Coming from a folding knife collector, I care about quality. The blade centering on this razor is spot on when folded, and the finishing is perfect, perfect bead blasting and perfect beveling on the tang. The machining on the head is highly precise, you can just tell when you load the blade in, and the tiny screws involved with this design, just screams precision. Little heavy on the hand at first, also quite a bit of blade exposure, this razor is not for beginner for sure. My only suggestion for Muhle is the anodization on the handle can be tougher."

"I have had the knife holder for 6 months. It is an expensive product and the black part faded quickly. I think the quality of the handle should be improved."

"Quality, weight, convenience. These are three things this shavette comes in over the top with. The quality and thought that went into the design and material is outstanding, even going as far as having pockets milled into the blade holder for the lip of halved DE blade truly excellent design that with proper care will absolutely out live all of us. Next the weight, it’s stout and feels heavy in the hand which lends to how smoothly operating this piece of kit works, little to no extra effort or pressure needed, truly can let the razor do the work and get the closest shave to date. Like all shavettes with replaceable blades, no stroping, honing or special treatment needed no special brand or specific one of a kind blades either. Snap one of your favorite DE blades in half and lock it in place, so so simple. Not many thing come without a con however. One small thing I would change is how deep your DE blade sits in the holder, a lot of blade does get exposed, just a caution."

Enthusiast Pro straight razor

"I am a licensed Barber and I have to say this razor isn’t what I thought it was going to be. The razor scales are too heavy also the scales are too tight. Had the scales been lighter this would be a great razor."

Feels like a Straight Razor

"Very nice razor that handles and feels like a straight. Viable alternative to Feather AC (SR, DX or SS) series, but does not have the initial harshness after inserting new blades like the Feathers. Enthusiast Pro produces very close and comfortable shaves even though the price point is above Feathers, but the Enthusiast Pro can be used with DE blades broken in half or commercially manufactured half blades. Would definitely buy it again."
