An update.
"I have found a way to avoid all the nicks and cuts. I can use this razor every place on my face except where you would wear a goatee. These areas are flat enough where I don't get nicked. Then I can use my Merkur, a less aggressive razor, for the area around my mouth, under my nose, and chin. This razor is a bit aggressive for delicate, curvature areas. Otherwise, it gives me a great smooth shave."
R41 GS - Perfection
"My favorite and most used razor is the Muhle R41. After using the GS version, I can say that it performs even better for me. I like the bigger handle and heavier weight of the GS. The weight of the razor will do all the work; all you have to do is guide it for perfect results. This razor in hand feels like a serious piece of equipment and gives perfect shaves with no irritation. My skills are dialed in with the R41 and now that I have the GS, I don't think I'll ever need another razor. This is the pinnacle - the top tier of razors and in my opinion, well worth the money."

"Well, I had the good fortune to grab the anniversary edition of the razor. It's years now and I have this certain feeling I have had the best shaves ever with this razor. The stainless steel is incorruptible and it is very easy to fall in line with its impeccable groove."

"I didn’t expected the razor was chrome layered, I was expecting a more stun chirugic steel look. You need to gently get used to the razor with open cumb but it shure shaves smooth. Let the weight do the job and gently steer where you need it."
