The Material

Steamed Ash

The fine patterns in the grain of the steamed ash proceed in straight lines. This indigenous wood is heated for a short time to ensure that it is able to absorb less water. The nut-brown shimmering surface is then oiled and polished so that neither shaving lather nor soapy water stands a chance.

Pure Badger

Wet shave and facial massage in one? This is possible thanks to pure badger hair. This shaving brush is the gateway to the world of shaving culture from the Ore Mountains. The natural material, with its darker color from brownish gray to black, reflects its extremely robust quality. The hair is stronger than silvertip and fine badger, yet softer and much more flexible than bristle. The brush head is machine-made and processed in line with the high standards of the MÜHLE manufactory.

The result is a series that catches the eye in variations of high-grade black resin and high-grade petrol resin, as well as brushes and razors made of heat-treated ash wood. The holder in the RYTMO line offers reliable protection against scratches with a sophisticated detail, namely a plastic insert, which interlocks with the metal and fits like a glove.
